St. Francis Hospital Inc.

       St. Francis Hospital, Inc. provides community health care. Excellence in health care and community service has been a tradition at St. Francis Hospital since the Sisters of St. Francis of Millvale, Pennsylvania opened its doors to the public in 1950. Although the Sisters have gone, the commitment continues at Columbus, Georgia’s only faith-based acute-care community hospital.

First African Baptist Church

       A faith based organization; First African Baptist Church is the oldest Black congregation in the city of Columbus. It was founded in the 1840s. Traditionally, as well as to date, the congregation has influenced many citizens in the community through their outreach ministries along with the sponsoring of various community activities. At risk students have benefited from mentoring and tutoring services. There have been many occasions where our students have been involved with the church youth programs.
